Norah's Tavkveri, 2022
Red wine
Tax included.
Ripe cherries, plum, and something quietly mysterious underneath. Medium-bodied, fruity, with a finish that makes you want another sip.
Tavkveri is one of Georgia's most characterful red grapes — rarely found outside the country, naturally low in tannins, and built for pleasure rather than power. Tornike Lomtadze ferments it in stainless steel with six months of skin contact, which gives the wine its deep colour and layered fruit without the heaviness you'd get from qvevri.
The result is a red that works for everyone — seasoned natural wine drinkers and complete newcomers alike.
Pairs with cherry tomato pasta, grilled courgette, soft cheeses, dark chocolate.
Label by Georgian artist Barbara Aslamazi (@barbara_aslamazi) — the same hand behind Norah's Rkatsiteli.
