The Kinto Natural story

That's not a tagline we came up with in a meeting. It's something we genuinely believe — and the reason Kinto Natural exists.
Who we are
Kinto Natural was started by two Georgians, Otar Bedoshvili and Tata Popiashvili, out of a simple question: what would be the most fun thing to do in life?
We grew up with natural wine. In Georgia, it's not a trend — it's an 8,000-year-old way of life. Qvevri vessels buried in the earth, wild fermentations, no additives, no shortcuts. Wine that carries the memory of the land it came from. We've loved it since we were young, and we wanted the rest of the world to have access to it.
So two years ago, we started Kinto Natural. We're still building — we're even making our own wine now, though it's not ready yet. When it is, you'll be the first to know.
Berlin is our home
Berlin has always been a city that makes room for things that don't fit neatly elsewhere — honest food, real culture, people who care about what goes into their bodies. It felt like the right place to bring Georgian natural wine to Europe.
Sharing Georgian culture here isn't a mission statement. It's just what we do.
Our producers
We work with 5–6 producers in Georgia, and we're friends with all of them. We met each one differently — through introductions, through travel, through the kind of chance encounters that turn into long relationships. What they have in common: they make wine honestly, with deep knowledge of their land, their grapes, and their craft.
How our pricing works
The winemaker sets their price. We add only what we need to cover import, storage, and delivery — nothing more. We're transparent about this because we think you deserve to know what you're paying for.
Georgia isn't next door. The wines travel far to reach you, and that's reflected honestly in the price. What you're not paying for is a brand markup or a middleman's margin.
What we believe
Natural wine isn't a product category. It's a position, a principle, a philosophy. When you drink something pure — made without intervention, without chemicals, by people who have been doing this for generations — that becomes part of you.
You are what you drink. We take that seriously.
