Orange Affair, 2022
Orange wine
Tax included.
Sunshine in a bottle. Deep citrus, blood orange, ripe apricot, a surprising mezcal smoke — fresh and bright with tender tannins and a medium body that opens up with every sip.
A blend of Mtsvane and Rkatsiteli — two of Georgia's most characterful white grapes — fermented on skins for two months in stainless steel. These particular Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane skins from south Kakheti give the wine its vivid amber-orange colour and textural depth, while the steel tank preserves the fresh, fruit-forward character that makes this one so easy to love.
No additives - just two Georgian grapes doing exactly what they're best at.
Pairs with mezze, grilled halloumi, roasted peppers, spiced lentil salad, fresh herbs.
Made by Artizani, a collective of 3 queer winemakers, works with indigenous Georgian varieties using minimal intervention — letting the grapes and the vintage speak for themselves.
